Dîner Dansant Minuetto
The exclusive Hotel Danieli in Venice, situated very close to St Mark’s Square, brings you the tradition of the Carnival of Venice so that you can experience it as the Venetians have since the 18th century.
Dressed in your period costume, you will savour a delicious gala dinner in the restaurant of this magnificent hotel, where you can then enjoy a magical evening of dancing. The excellent Baroque quartet and the dance maestro offer an attractive programme of music with dances, such as minuettos, contraddanzas, waltzes and other traditional group dances. During and after dinner, you will be able to learn the basic steps – which are simple and easy to learn – for these dances of the 18th and 19th centuries.
Please note: A period costume is required.
This luxury hotel consists of three palaces, the oldest of which is the Palazzo Dandolo dating from the 14th century. Its richly decorated interior includes Murano glass chandeliers, beautiful tapestries and marble columns, all of which demonstrate Venetian splendour and romanticism.
